I am a level 4 (SCQF level 8) sports & remedial massage therapist, having trained with WESTERN SCHOOL OF MASSAGE through caledonian university - the only university level massage qualification available in scotland.
my initial training was with Rachel Black at the GLASGOW SCHOOL OF MASSAGE where I obtained an FHT accredited level 3 (SCQF level 7) practitioners diploma in therapeutic massage with oncology massage
this extensive training, including qualifications in anatomy, physiology and pathology allowed me to focus not only on creating a safe, relaxing environment for clients but to offer massage treatments to people going through a particularly challenging time of their lives.
I trained with Kate Valentine of VALENTINE VOICE CARE in February 2024, receiving an equity business grant to train in the VOICE CARE CENTRE's award winning course and pain-free method based on Stephen King's work.
I also hold estill voice training qualifications - level 1: Foundations of Estill Voice Training & level 2: Figure Combinations for Six Voice Qualities - delivered by Gillyanne Kayes and Jeremy Fisher
proudly registered with the FHT (federation of holistic therapists) & BAPAM (british association of performing arts medicine). these registrations are only possible through a high level of training and specialist experience working with performing arts individuals.
